Read those.
That is victory.
That is redemption.
Those stories are worthy of: weeping, dancing, kneeling, skipping, twirling, rejoicing, fighting, standing in wonderful abandonment, worship. Our wonderful God is living out His story of rescue in our family daily.
“But as for me, I watch in hope for the LORD,
I wait for God my Savior;
my God will hear me.
Do not gloat over me, my enemy!
Though I have fallen, I will rise.
Though I sit in darkness,
the LORD will be my light.
Because I have sinned against him,
I will bear the LORD’s wrath,
until he pleads my case
and establishes my right.
He will bring me out into the light;
I will see his righteousness.
Who is a God like you,
who pardons sin and forgives the transgression
of the remnant of his inheritance?
You do not stay angry forever
but delight to show mercy.
You will again have compassion on us;
you will tread our sins underfoot
and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.”
Micah 7:7-10, 18-19
“Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.” Romans 12:15
“so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.” 1 Cor. 12:25-26
The battle for those two beautiful ladies that are mentioned above is far from over. They’ll still struggle. We all still struggle even after huge victory in our lives…but the “best” part about is that we get to do this together. We’re family. We’re connected. We belong to each other.
So, today, let’s rejoice in the Lord’s victory…and prepare to continue the fight in His power.
