I feel like this blog is long overdue. But here it is, better late than never. Meet Traci.
Traci is… -my sister by blood and in Christ
-my best friend
-loving
-gentle
-thoughtful (she sometimes get lost in her thoughts and has to be reminded to come back to reality)
-falling more and more in love with Jesus every day (PRAISE!)
-a nerd by American standards
-a rock star by Japanese standards
-tall
-sometimes quiet
-missed. I miss you, kid. More than you know.
-the same kind of crazy as I am
-going to be used/is being used by God in awesome ways.
-makes much more well thought out decisions than I do
-loves Myrtle Beach Biker Week tshirts
-in Japan. Sharing the love of Christ with college students.

It’s beautiful when I see something from my past that would have normally shaken me to the core, but now only serves to point me toward the goodness of my Lord and the glory of His love.
Jesus, thank you for growth, salvation, sanctification, and freedom from a past that sometimes tries to haunt me still.
“The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” PS. 18:2
Falling on my knees in worship
Giving all I am to seek Your face

I place in Your hands
God of mercy

Today’s one of those days when all I can do is weep, laugh, be humbled, and sing for joy in awe of the God who saved my soul and continues to pursue me even when I run.
“I am His by purchase and I am His by conquest; I am His by donation and I am His by election; I am His by covenant and I am His by marriage; I am wholly His; I am peculiarly His; I am universally His; I am eternally His.
Once I was a slave but now I am a son; once I was dead but now I am alive; once I was darkness but now I am light in the Lord; once I was a child of wrath, an heir of hell, but now I am an heir of heaven; once I was Satan’s bond-servant but now I am God’s freeman; once I was under the spirit of bondage but now I am under the Spirit of adoption that seals up to me the remission of my sins, the justification of my person and the salvation of my soul.”
